Crazy Crawler

Callie has been crawling for quite some time now...if that's what you call it. She realized that she can get around quickly by "doing the worm". It is the funniest thing. Now, she mixes up the traditional crawling with her "worm" crawl. She will laugh about it later in life. I am sure.

Sleep, Baby Sleep

So, this sight has got to be the most precious thing in the whole world. I love to watch Callie sleep. When she is tired, she sleeps so soundly. She is just learning to get herself back to sleep when she wakes. It has taken her 9 months and 3 weeks to get to that point. Thank goodness she is sleeping better. She makes little noises in the night,but doesn't usually wake herself up anymore. So, why am I awake? It is about 4 am and I heard her whimpering...so here I am at the computer. I can't get out of "Mommy Mode" for one minute. How does that happen? Do we just switch over the moment our child is born? The instinct just kicks in? Sometimes, I want to be the old me that just passes out from exhaustion and doesn't wake up til the next morning. I don't think there will ever be a day like that again....so worth the price though.....

I'm a newbie..

So, this whole blogging thing is new to me, but I could talk forever about my family. SO, this is the easiest way to keep everyone up-to-speed on what we are doing these days.
